“Interiors should be transformative, safe havens, thoughtful and simply special”

Victoria Nazloo

Owner & Principal Designer

Your homes character and personality is defined by who you are. A well thought-out and designed space takes the professional effort and the intuitive eye of a designer to have the vision come to fruition.

My personal design mantra and one of which I always strive to share with my clients is: "The details are not the details, they make the design” practiced by Charles Eames. Design is innovative, inspiring, and of course, is supposed to be fun. I enable this process through accessible design in a turn key manner for all.

I have been passionate about interior design since I can remember. I recall being young and walking into furniture stores, feeling butterflies in my stomach as I passed through the showroom, touching everything in sight and taking in the aroma of fine leather.  I still love taking in all of the different textures and smells, seeing what is new and upcoming for the industry, and enjoying the familiarities when that whiff of fine leather breezes through and harkens me to sit in that cool, comfy saddle chair.

My skillset is many thanks to life experiences, education, and a constant curiosity for all things beautiful. I hold a BFA in Interior Design from San Jose State University’s applauded Interior Design program.  I am trained in many aspects of design including, but not limited to: interior architecture, sustainable design, commercial design, space planning, object and lighting design. I believe that growth is important and that part of a designers responsibility to the industry and to our clients is to continue learning and exploring. To accomplish this, I am active in both the ASID California Peninsula and IIDA Northern California organizations and have served as the Emerging Professionals Chair for ASID Cal. Pen. from 2015-2016. My collection of skills led me to win the 2nd place award at the 2014 IIDA Honor Awards as well as the Gold Award in the student commercial category at the 2015 ASID Cal. Pen. Design Awards for my figurative boutique hotel, BLU.

My professional career started with an esteemed Silicon Valley design firm, where I played a key role in growing and establishing the firm. In 2018 I excitedly transitioned my role in the industry to Owner and Principal of STYLE WISE Interior Design. As Principal, I set a goal for myself to look deeper into my clients day-to-day needs and to create a space that is more than just well decorated; the space has to reflect the inhabitants and cater to their lifestyle needs.

For the past 10+ years of working in the industry, I have completed projects and made wonderful relationships with clients all up and down Northern California, worked virtually on projects across the U.S. and have thankfully had the opportunity to redesign and reimagine a Parisian flat in Paris, France (part 2 currently underway).

The most cherished aspect of being an interior designer is the outcome of the well thought out and creative design. Seeing my clients happy in their spaces is the most rewarding part of the job. I love incorporating textures, styles, colors, finishes, and design concepts to harmonize a space. Design encompasses all around us, sometimes without us even realizing it, and it is my job and hope to make that design relevant and enjoyable for all.

Silicon Valley is an exciting and vivacious place I get to enjoy living in with my realtor husband Tatian Odesho and our toddler daughter Aviana and I hope to inject beauty and exquisite design to the well deserving people of this ever-growing part of the world.
